Before you jump to Chicken Mince Curry with Green Peas and Potatoes recipe, you may want to read this short interesting healthy tips about Deciding on Healthy Fast Food.
Just about any article you read about improving your health or weight loss is going to tell you to ignore the drive through and cook all of your meals instead. This is actually very good advice. Sometimes, though, the last thing you want is to have to make a meal from scratch. Once in a while you need to visit the drive through while you are on your way home and end the day. There is no reason that you shouldn’t be able to do that once in a while and be free of the guilt usually associated with “diet slips”. This is because many of the well-known fast food restaurants out there are trying to “healthy up” their menus. Here is the way to eat healthy when you visit the drive through.
Visit a drive through at a place who has made it a practice to offer healthier options to people. For instance, Arby’s doesn’t offer hamburgers. Instead it is possible to select from roast beef sandwiches, salads, wraps as well as other healthier items. Wendy’s, not surprisingly, is known for its square burgers, but the menu there has a considerable amount of healthy choices like salad, potatoes and chili. Most fast food dining places will not stoop to the poor lows seen at McDonalds.
Fundamental logic states that the proper way to lose pounds and get healthy is to ban fast food from your diet completely. While this is usually a good idea all you need to do is make a couple of good choices and visiting the drive through isn’t anything to worry about–when you do it in moderation. Sometimes the best thing is to let someone else make your dinner. If you ultimately choose healthy things, the remorse usually associated with hitting the drive through shouldn’t be so bad.
