The ingredients needed to make Hot and Sour soup:
- Provide 1 baby cabbage shredded
- Take 1 small capsicum cubed
- Provide 1 carrot cubed
- Get 1/2 cup tomato ketchup
- Prepare 2 tbsp chilli garlic sauce
- Provide 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Take 2 tbsp vinegar
- Take 1/4 tsp red food colour
- Provide to taste Salt
- Prepare Black pepper to sprinkle
- Provide 1 chicken cube
- Provide 2 tbsp mazeina
- Prepare 1 egg white
- Use Water 500ml -1 ltr
- Take 1 chicken breast cut into small cubes
Steps to make Hot and Sour soup:
- Put boiling water in pot. Add chicken cube. Let it boil till chicken cube melts then add the cubed chicken cook for 5-10 mins.
- Mix all the sauces and red food colour in a bowl and put it in the soup add salt and pepper as taste. Cook for few mins.
- Now add all the vegetables and bring to a boil. Keep stirring occasionally. Mix mazeina with 1/4 cup cold water and add it to the soup stirring continuously. Cook the soup till it thickens.
- Add egg white to the soup in the end stirring continuously. Cook 2-5 mins. Serve hot.
