- Provide boiling water
- Get dry astragal root, in slices (milk vetch root)
- Get snow peas, prepared
- Provide mini bok-choy, bottom removed then cut in two length wise
- Provide mushrooms, thinly sliced
- Provide green onions (scallions), finely chopped
- Get miso paste
- Prepare szechuan peppercorns
- Provide white rice vermicellis
- You need soft tofu
- Take ground black pepper

- Add astragal root to boiling water, cover, reduce heat a bit and let boil for half an hour
- Remove astragal slices from water and put away
- Add snowpeas to broth and simmer for ten minutes
