Before you jump to BBQ baked brie recipe, you may want to read this short interesting healthy tips about Choosing Fast Food That’s Very good For You.

Almost every single article about reducing your weight and getting healthy explains readers to avoid drive through windows like the plague and that they need to perform all of their own cooking. This is really excellent guidance. Occasionally, though, the last thing you want is to have to prepare an evening meal from scratch. Once in a while you need to pay a visit to the drive through while you are on your way home and end the day. There is no reason you shouldn’t be able to do this once in a while and be free of the guilt usually associated with “diet slips”. You can do this because many of the popular joints are now marketing “healthy” menu selections to keep their businesses up. Here is how to eat healthy when you visit the drive through.

Visit a drive through for a place who has made it a practice to supply healthier options to people. Arby’s by way of example, doesn’t serve burgers. Instead, the choices consist of roast beef and chicken sandwiches, wraps and big salads. While Wendy’s has offered hamburgers for decades, they also have a lot of other healthy options like salads, baked potatoes and chili. Not every little thing is McDonalds using its deep fried chicken parts as well as other terribly unhealthy items.

Traditional logic tells us that one certain way to get healthy and lose fat is to drop the drive through and to remove fast food restaurants from your thoughts. While, for the most part, this is a good plan, if you make smart choices, there is no reason to feel guilty for visiting a drive through one or two times a month. Every now and then, letting someone else cook dinner is just the thing you need. If you ultimately choose healthy items, the guilt usually associated with hitting the drive through shouldn’t be so bad.

The ingredients needed to prepare BBQ baked brie:
  1. Use 1 wheel of brie. I used a mini 150g package but any size will work. Larger may need a few more minutes though of course. Camembert is good too.
  2. Get 1 clove or 2 of garlic, 2 or 3 for a large wheel
  3. Provide 2 sprigs of rosemary (or thyme is also good)
  4. Take 1 drizzle of oil
Instructions to make BBQ baked brie:
  1. Remove all packaging and lay brie on a double layer of foil, big enough to wrap the whole brie in later.
  2. Score a cross in the top of the brie. Do not cut right through.
  3. Lightly coat brie in oil, including the sides and base.
  4. Stud the brie with herbs and garlic. You can cut the garlic cloves in half first if you like, for extra flavour.
  5. Wrap brie in the foil.
  6. Place on the BBQ for 10-15 mins or until soft and gooey.
  7. Enjoy with fresh crusty bread, crudités or anything else that takes your fancy!
