Almost every “get healthy” and “weight loss” article you go through will tell you to skip the drive through and make all of your meals yourself. This is really very good advice. But occasionally the last thing you would like to do is put together a whole dinner for yourself and your family. Once in a while you need to check out the drive through while you are on your way home and end the day. There isn’t any reason that you shouldn’t be allowed to do this and not be tormented by shame about slipping on your diet. You are able to do this because many of the popular joints are now advertising “healthy” menu selections to keep their businesses up. Here is the way to eat healthy when you reach the drive through.
Your beverage should be water or juice or milk. When you drink a large soft drink you are introducing too much empty calories to your day. Usually an individual serving of soda pop should be eight ounces big. That helping typically is made up of at least a hundred calories and more than a few tablespoons of sugar. Most fast food carbonated drinks are a minimum of twenty ounces huge. Thirty ounces, however, is much more common. This is the reason why just ordering a soft drink will add cupfulls of sugar and thousands of empty calories to your diet. It is much healthier to decide on milk, juice and also normal water.
Logic says that one the simplest way to stay healthy and balanced is to sidestep the drive through and never eat fast food. While, in most cases, this is a good idea, if you make sensible choices, there is no reason to feel guilty for visiting a drive through one or two times a month. Once in a while, letting someone else cook dinner is just the thing you need. There isn’t any reason to feel bad about visiting the drive through when you make healthy decisions!
