  2. Take 1 lb sausage links, removed from casings
  3. Take 15 oz can of great nothern beans, drained and rinsed
  4. Use 15 oz dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  5. Get 8 cup chicken broth
  6. Prepare 1 cup baby carrots
  7. Get 1 1/2 cup sliced yellow onion
  8. Prepare 2 leeks, cleaned and sliced
  9. Provide 1/2 cup chopped celery
  10. Take 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  11. Use 1 tsp salt
  12. Use 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  13. Prepare 1/2 tsp thyme
  14. You need 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  15. Get 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  16. Get 1 tbsp sweet chili sauce

  1. In a large dutch oven, heat bacon fat over medium heat.
  2. Add sausage meat and break pieces into a crumb texture.
  3. Once almost cooked through, add all the spices and seasonings.
  4. Add in your vegetables. Saute for three minutes.
  5. After three minutes, add in the chili sauce and Worcestershire.
  6. Now add beans and stock.
  7. Turn heat to low, cover pot and simmer for 45 minutes.
  8. Add in dry pasta and continue to simmer, covered for 15- 20 more minutes.
  9. Serve with a great crusty bread.
