Just about any article you read about restoring your health or weight loss is going to tell you to ignore the drive through and cook all of your meals instead. This is really very true. Once in a while, though, you absolutely do not need to make a full meal for your family or even just for yourself. Sometimes almost all you want is to go to the drive through and get home as soon as possible. There is zero reason that you shouldn’t be able to make it happen once in a while and be free of the guilt usually associated with “diet slips”. This may be possible because an abundance of the popular fast food destinations are attempting to make their menus healthy now. Here’s how you’ll be able to eat healthfully when you are at a fast food place.
Choose a drive through at a restaurant that is known for catering to people with better palates. For example, Arby’s won’t provide hamburgers. As an alternative it is possible to select from roast beef sandwiches, salads, wraps as well as other healthier items. While Wendy’s has offered hamburgers for decades, in addition they have a lot of other healthy options like salads, baked potatoes and chili. Not everything is McDonalds featuring its deep fried chicken parts and other terribly bad items.
Logic states that that one of the best ways to stay healthy and balanced is to sidestep the drive through and never eat fast food. Most of the time this is a good plan but if you make beneficial choices, there’s no reason you can’t visit your drive through from time to time. Sometimes what you need is to let other people create your dinner. When you choose healthful menu items, you do not have to feel terrible about visiting the drive through.

Steps to make Prawn Wonton Soup:
- Place Dashi Stock in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add Salt & Soy Sauce and bring to a simmer. If you use Chicken or Vegetable stock, alter the amount of Salt & Soy Sauce. - Mince the thawed Prawns by chopping up, add Spring Onion, Ginger, Shiitake, Egg White and Potato Starch, then Salt & Pepper and mix well.
- Place 1 wonton wrapper on a plate, place 1 heaped teaspoon prawn mixture in centre. Wet edges with water and fold up to form a triangle and pinch to enclose. For soup, attach both bottom corner edges together. Repeat with remaining mixture and wrappers.
- Add wontons to simmering soup. Cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes or until wontons float to the surface and cooked through.
- Alternatively, you can deep fry the triangular wontons.
