The ingredients needed to prepare Tomato Soup:
- You need 3-4 medium sized Tomato (washed, chopped)
- Use 1 tbsp corn flour
- Use 1/2 tsp crushed Black pepper
- Prepare 1 tsp sugar
- You need to taste Salt
- Provide 2 tbsp butter
- Take 1 cup water
- Use 2 tbsp fresh cream
- Provide 3-4 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- Prepare 2 bay leaf
Steps to make Tomato Soup:
- Melt the butter on medium flame add garlic and bay leaves saute for few seconds. Than add chopped tomatoes.
- Add salt, 1/2 cup water and cook with cover for 10 min. Than keep it to cool for 5-10 min. Than make a fine smooth paste of it into grinder.
- Now strain the Tomato paste with strainer. And keep the puree aside.. Now melt 1 tsp of butter into the pan on medium flame.
- Add cornflour and saute till the rawness goes away and change the colour. Than add the strained puree into it and cook 2-3 min. Add 1/2 cup of more water. Than add crushed black pepper and sugar mix it well.
- Now add 2 tbsp of fresh cream mix it well.switch off the flame and transfer it into serving bowl.
- Garnish it with cream and coriander leaf and some croutons. Serve it hot.
