Almost every single “get healthy” and “weight loss” posting you read will tell you to skip the drive through and make all of your meals yourself. This is really very true. From time to time, though, the last thing you want is to have to prepare an evening meal from scratch. Sometimes all you want is to go to the drive through and get home quickly. Why shouldn’t you be able to do this every so often and not have a bunch of guilt about slipping up on your diet regime? You can do this because lots of the popular joints are now marketing “healthy” menu alternatives to keep their businesses up. Here is how to eat healthy when you reach the drive through.
Choose water, juice or perhaps milk as a drink. Choosing a huge soft drink as your beverage gives hundreds of poor calories to your meal. Usually a single serving of soda should be eight ounces big. Those eight ounces are often at least 100 calories and around ten tablespoons of sugar. A fast food soft drink is almost always at the very least twenty ounces. It is frequently at least 30 ounces. This ensures that just purchasing a soft drink will add cupfulls of sugar and thousands of empty calories to your diet program. Water, fruit juice as well as milk, however, are far better choices.
Logic states that that one of the best ways to stay healthy and balanced is to avoid the drive through and never eat fast food. Most of the time this is a good plan but if you make beneficial choices, there is no reason you can’t visit your drive through from time to time. Sometimes what you need is to let another person produce your dinner. There isn’t any reason to feel bad about visiting the drive through when you make healthy and balanced decisions!
