Before you jump to Vegetable Curry Soup (Vegan Friendly) recipe, you may want to read this short interesting healthy tips about Choosing Fast Food That’s Fine For You.

Just about every article you read about restoring your health or slimming down is going to tell you to ignore the drive through and cook all of your meals instead. This is really very true. Occasionally, though, the last thing you choose is to have to cook an evening meal from scratch. Once in a while you just want to visit the drive through while you are on your way home and complete the day. There is simply no reason you shouldn’t be able to do that once in a while and be free of the guilt usually associated with “diet slips”. This can be done because plenty of the popular fast food spots are attempting to make their menus healthier now. Here’s how it is possible to eat healthfully while you are at a fast food place.

Aim for the side dishes. Not too long ago, the only side dish item offered by a fast food restaurant was French fries. Now more or less all of the popular fast food places have widened their menus. Now you can find a range of salads. You could also choose Chili. You can also buy a baked potato. Fruit is usually obtainable. There are so many possibilities that you can choose that do not force you to consume foods that have been deep fried. When selecting your supper from the drive through, select a variety of side items instead of choosing a pre-made “meal deal”. When you choose to do this you may keep your fat content as well as your calorie counts low.

Traditional logic tells us that one sure way to get healthy and lose weight is to drop the drive through and to remove fast food restaurants from your thoughts. While, usually, this is a good idea, if you make intelligent choices, there is no reason to feel guilty for visiting a drive through one or two times a month. Sometimes the thing you need is to let another person create your dinner. If you decide on healthy products, the guilt usually associated with hitting the drive through shouldn’t be so bad.

Instructions to make Vegetable Curry Soup (Vegan Friendly):
  1. Chop garlic and throw in a soup pot with oil in the bottom, have cabbage carrots, mushrooms and potatoes ready and chopped to throw in once the garlic is ready! Let those cook until either done or close to it.
  2. Start the rice in a different pan, i usually add the rice into the soup later on right before it’s done
  3. Once the veggies are nice and ready throw in the spices (the overload of curry is to really make the taste pop!) Let that cook for about 30 seconds or so, stirring the whole time.
  4. Throw in the coconut cream, broth and water, let it sit and cook for a little bit.
  5. When the rice is almost done, throw it in and let it cook long enough for the rice to finish cooking.
  6. Once it looks done and smells delicious throw in the Kale! I pick out the stalk of the kale because that part isn’t appetizing for me, but you can do whatever.
  7. Enjoy and serve!
