The ingredients needed to make Kadhi, Chawal and Sukhe Aloo:
- Get 1 bowl besan
- Get 1 bowl sour curd
- Prepare 1 tsp coriander powder
- Get 1/2 pinch hing
- Take 1 tsp red chilli powder
- Use 2 tsp salt
- Prepare 1 tsp methi daana
- Prepare 2 dry red chilli
- Take 1 tsp jeera
- Prepare as needed curry patta
- Get 1 tsp haldi powder
- Prepare 1 tbsp ghee
- Provide as needed Oil for frying
- Use 4 boiled potatoes
- Take 1 tbsp ghee
- Use 1/2 tsp jeera
- Prepare 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Use to taste Salt
- You need 1/2 tsp dhania powder
- Get 1 pinch hing
- Use 1/2 tsp garam masala
- You need 1 tsp chat masala
- Get 1tsp oil
- Use 1 bowl rice
Steps to make Kadhi, Chawal and Sukhe Aloo:
- First to make pakoras, take a mixing bowl and put half of the besan in it.
- Now add half tspn of salt,half tspn chilli powder and half tspn hing to it.
- Mix it by adding water to it.
- Batter should not be runny.
- Now heat the oil for it.
- When heated, make pakoras and drop them in the heated oil.
- Deep fry them from both the sides.
- When it starts turning brown, then remove the pakoras from the oil on the absorbent paper.
- Our Pakodas are ready for the kadhi.
- Now to make kadhi, take a mixing bowl by adding besan to it.
- Now add one and half tspn salt, sour curd, 1 tspn dhania powder and haldi powder to it.
- Mix it properly by blender and add water to it.
- Again blend it and after blending add methi dana.
- Now take a heavy bottom pan and pour all this batter in it.
- Stirr it continously so that it does not get burnt from the bottom.
- When it comes to first boil then leave it and lower the flame.
- But keep stirring after every 4 to 5 mins.
- After 20 to 25 mins, switch off the flame.
- Now put all the pakoras in the kadhi.
- For tempering, take a small pan and put ghee in it.
- When heated add hing, broken dry red chilli, jeera,curry patta and red chilli powder to it.
- Pour this tempering on the Kadhi.
- Our kadhi is ready.
- And for rice, use basic recipe for it.
- Wash, soak and boil it.
- For sukhe aloo, peel the boiled potatoes.
- Cut into cubes.
- Take a kadai and heat it by adding oil in it.
- Now add hing, jeera and aloo in it.
- Mix it and add red chilli powder, salt, chat masala, dhania powder and garam masala to it.
- Mix it very well so that they are combined to each other.
- When the masala is coated on aloo and gets crispy then switch off the flame.
- This Kadhi Chawal and Sukhe Aloo combination goes very well including salad and chapatis.
