  1. Prepare 1/2 pound chicken thigh of boneless pieces, cleaned and cut into small thin pieces (about 1/2 inch thick and 1 inch long)

Strain this through a strainer (to get any seed and fibrous pulp out) and pour the thin tamarind pulp into the pot.
