But at times the last thing you wish to do is make a whole meal for yourself and your family. Once in a while you need to pay a visit to the drive through while you are on your way home and finish the day. There is simply no reason you shouldn’t be able to do that once in a while and be free of the guilt usually associated with “diet slips”. You are able to do this because many of the popular joints are now marketing “healthy” menu alternatives to keep their businesses up. Here’s how it’s possible to eat healthfully when you’re at a fast food place.

Wendy’s, of course, is known for its square burgers, but the menu there has a bundle of healthful choices like salad, potatoes and chili. Most fast food restaurants do not stoop to the unhealthy lows seen at McDonalds.

Fundamental sense states that the simplest way to lose pounds and get healthy is to ban fast food from your diet completely. While, in most cases, this is a good plan, if you make smart choices, there is no reason to feel guilty for visiting a drive through one or two times a month.
